Backenzähne!

No pictures yet, but today we saw Clara's first molar! And a quick check revealed that she has at least two of them, the bottom two. This explains some of Clara's pain and irritability a couple of weeks ago, and also how she can chew so much better now. She eats LOTS of things now, and can mostly eat what we eat.

Good, since we found out yesterday at the doctor's office that Clara still weighs about 8.5kg (19 lbs), pretty much unchanged from 6 months ago. But we see the start of a toddler belly now, and Chris just keeps feeding the little tiger all day long.

Update: I checked the top this evening and can just feel the tiny needle-tip of the two top molars poking through. So Clara has altogether 10 teeth now.
