Return to Schlemmin

When my parents were here we took a trip back to the place where we were married. Our visit was a little bit later, and this year the summer wasn't as long, so the trees didn't have quite as many leaves on them. Still, it was quite pretty and it was a lot of fun for me to go back and reminisce about the wedding.



Clara is able to walk by herself now! Well, inside the house at least... She hasn't gotten used to her big winter boots yet, and since it's gotten cold now her sneakers don't really cut it. She's also trying to say a lot more words. She kind of says "cat" and has said "Ch-stah" a few times. For a long time she's been sort of able to do a chicken impression ("bawk bawk bwah kah!" I need to try to take a video!), and tonight she was making her version of a quack when Tanja asked her what a duck says. The walking and talking are supposedly connected, so we'll see whether her words get clearer soon.
