We thought about posting these "Clara is feeling better" photos Saturday evening, but didn't get around to it. It turns out it would have been premature, since Clara's fever came back, and by 1am on Sunday it was all the way up to 40.3C (104.5f). We took Clara to the emergency room early on Sunday morning (we had been using Tylenol to lower the fever when Clara was uncomfortable, and the box says to see a doctor if you need to use it more than three days).
Quick aside: The emergency room experience was fantastic! The largest Children's hospital in Germany is two subway stops from our place, and at about 8am on Sunday morning there was no one in line. We saw a doctor within about ten minutes of getting there, and didn't have to pay anything for the visit!
At the hospital they ruled out a UTI, and said it's probably a virus. We went home hoping that Sunday afternoon would be as good as Saturday was, but unfortunatly she wasn't in very good shape. Monday was another rough day, but on Tuesday things started looking up. Today (Wednesday) was the first day we didn't have to give her any Tylenol or Ibuprofen, and she's finally in much better shape! She's still not back to 100%, but it seems like she's gotten over being sick and just needs some time to get her full strength back.
On a mostly unrelated note, here are two photos I took during our walk on Saturday.
