Where did the summer go?

So, um, I guess it's obvious we've been busy this summer. It has been great so far (and some wonderful things are still coming up: among them, Oscar's first birthday and my (Tanja's) brother's wedding) - and we have a lot of pictures and stories for the blog. Among them, Chris's parents' visit in Berlin (and our week of vacation with them), our awesome vacation with Jaana, Mikko and their kids in Finland, Oscar's start at Kita, and Clara's start in her new group with the big kids.

Mostly they will have to wait for another blog post, since it will take some time to look through the pictures and remember all the things we meant to write here.

For now, just the last nice pictures with Chris's camera, which was stolen from us at the Berlin train station in July:

Oscar likes to eat "by himself" - and he actually does a pretty good job of it with sticky things like yogurt. It's just me (Tanja) who doesn't quite feel up to the mess yet.

Clara likes to sleep in.

And both kids just love, love, love their play room and the toys they have in it.
