Oscar is going up up up

Our little boy is not content with just belly-crawling anymore. He likes to stand, although we have to support him for balance. And he's climbing up on anything in his reach: boxes, toys, my lap, even Chester.

Chester and Oscar have a special relationship. I think they really like each other, although I have to save them from mutual destruction daily. Usually, Oscar is very excited to crawl to Chester and wants to pet him. Then he grabs a handful of fur on each side, crawls up on top of Chester and is about to bite into the furry middle as I rush to pull him away. Chester of course is way too stubborn to simply go away ("What? I was lying here first!"), but I think he also likes the attention, since he often comes specifically to where Oscar is playing on the carpet. So far, Chester has been very, very patient with Oscar's "rough love", and Oscar has only gotten to know Chester's sharp ends once. I need to get a picture of their snuggles.

Oscar's teeth number 5 and 6 have broken through. He has already chipped his top two front teeth! We have a kids' dentist appointment on Tuesday.

Today, Oscar managed to pull himself all the way up to standing! His arms and upper body is much stronger than his legs, though, which still buckle under his weight.
