Daycare update

Clara has been doing really well at the Kita! For three days now she's stayed for lunch, and Katrin said that tomorrow she's like Clara to try to stay for naptime. I must have arrived slightly later than usual today, because the mats were already out and Khalil was already asleep! By the time we left Nour was asleep too! I think this must have made an impression on Clara, as she fell asleep in the stroller on the way home!

Tanja really liked one of the "squirrel" photos, I'm not sure which one, hopefully this one?


In German "gloves" are "hand shoes" (Handschuh). Clara is taking this a little too literally here:

This happens to be the 100th blog post, so in commemoration I'm posting a composite picture of Clara's first 12 months that I made as a Nikolaus present for Tanja. The top left photo is from November, 2007, and each subsequent photo is from Dec, Jan, etc. I made it using powerpoint, so if anyone would like the .ppt file to make something similar for yourself please just email to ask.
