Photos from December

The Potsdam Weihnachtsmarkt (Christmas Market) was very nice, because it runs the entire length of Brandenburger and therefore isn't as crowded as most Christmas markets. The only problem this year was the lack of Christmas weather (it rained a lot of the time). But whenever we had a chance, the kids were happy to spend some of the allowance they had saved up on rides, snacks, and catching ducks:


One evening the kids designed their own "laptops". Clara made one for each of them - check out the YouTube style video "play" button. The whole thing was from memory, they did the whole thing in their room without coming out to look at a laptop.




On Christmas Eve (I think), Clara, Tanja, Oma, and I all took a walk on a perfectly cloudless day. Here's Clara posing at the bottom of one of Potsdam's many obelisks.
