After she turned over she fell asleep again:
Clara is doing lots of toddler things now. Here she is drawing with her "aqua doodle" (which I can highly recommend!). I love how she points at it at the end, too bad I didn't take the video for a bit longer!
And check out how she loves to sit on her chair. Climbing up is still a little difficult...
This weekend we go to Stralsund for Easter. I'm really looking forward to the Easter Egg hunt! Hopefully it will be sunny so that we can do it in the garden.
Listen to this old recording of Raffi singing "The More We Get Together." Skip to or pay close attention at 0:33 sec:
My cousin Cara tipped me off on this when we visited her. Could it be that our relationship is predicated on a subliminal message planted in my head when I was a child? Maybe I should be more careful about singing "there's Jacob and Iris and Clara and Silas..."
Youtube is a really great source of free music. It's helped me remember a lot of children's songs. Clara particularly likes "Tingalayo," and always picks up her stuffed donkey (who is now obviously called "Tingalayo") when we sing it.

Oh my goodness, I never noticed that (at 33 seconds)! We have a CD with that song on it, but I guess I haven't listened all that closely. Very funny.
Yay for 2 nights of sleep! May you guys have many, many more good nights of sleeping through the night! (we sure miss those...Keelan had been trying to make me feel better today after a particularly bad night, saying "it'll get better soon." Then we read your blog, and he said, "Wow, so Clara apparently hasn't been sleeping through the night until now? Maybe it won't get better..."
We hadn't checked your blog for a week or so and this was great! Three posts at once. Have a great Easter weekend by the beach, guys. Good thing Clara has a bucket and spade and knows what to do with them!
