Sandbox fun!

Last year someone gave Clara a plastic bucket with a shovel, spade, and rake. At first she liked gumming them up, then she used them as combs, and now she's finally getting to use them in the sandbox!


Clara just loves sandboxes! We have a park nearby that has a great baby slide which she loves (newest word is "again!"), as you saw last time she loves the swings (and has even gone alone a few times!), but these days for Clara I don't think anything tops playing in the sand.




When Clara bends down like she did in the middle photo the button pops open on those brown pants! She's still under nine kilos (<20lb), but with everything she's eating lately it's kind of hard to believe. Anyway, she's clearly bigger than she used to be...


We were invited to a wedding this summer, and the hosts asked everyone to paste their face onto a photo of someone else. Now they have a cool website where you can see all of the other guests before the wedding happens. Here's the photos we made, Tanja and Clara are "The Paper Bag Princesses."
