These are pretty much the first deliberate free steps (that's why we sound so silly and excited). But in the meantime, Clara has been practicing this several more times, although she can't get further than about 3 steps or so before she throws her head back, closes her eyes, pulls her arms in, and goes "TIMBER!" - with a huge smile on her face.
Oh, btw: I passed my dissertation defense! Yay! Here's Clara cheering me on right before the talk.

That's a sweet picture of Clara with Nancy, but I'm the one letting her eat leaves.
Haha, yeah I figured those feet were Susy's, but it fit the story better this way! ;)
