He has seemed like a two-year-old to us in many ways for a long time: talking so well, so strong!, the occasional but intense tantrums... but now our sweet boy has actually turned two years old!
Oscar likes: chocolate, pickles, ice cream, bread, noodles, banana, raisins, and almost any other food you may have in the house, trains, cars, elevators, escalators, U-Bahn, S-Bahn, buses, planes, puzzles, drawing, legos, singing, dacing, and playing music (harmonica, recorder, etc.), bath time, his big sister, "Nina" (Kristina), Mommy, Daddy, Grandma, Papa, Oma, Opa, his teachers and friends at Kita (especially Ivica and a few others), and most other people he meets, the playground, his walky-bike, climbing, balancing, bouncing, running, and many many other things.
Oscar doesn't like: loud noises (for example on construction sites), going to bed, and lit birthday candles.
Happy birthday, Oscar, we love you so much!
(We don't have time to upload the birthday pictures tonight, so here's something from last weekend.)

Another thing that Oscar doesn't like: wasps ("Bees!") I think this is partly my fault, as one time I FREAKED OUT when I turned around from helping Clara with her bike to see a wasp sitting on a piece of bread Oscar had inside of his mouth...
I regained my cool quickly, but my initial reaction seemed to really phase him.
