Oscar is just starting to get interested in his toes. I can't wait until he manages to get them in his mouth. And I bet he can't wait either!
Looking suspiciously at a cat...
Tanja's mom is visiting and helping out, so we all went to the zoo last weekend. Oscar is a stroller sleeper, so he missed out on all of the fun.
This last month has seen big changes in our household. Tanja and I moved out of our room and into the former guest room, so that we could make our big former bedroom the kids bedroom and playroom. Clara moved out of her room into her new big room, got a new big girl bed, and a couch (from the guest room). And finally, our new au pair, Luisa, moved into Clara's new room, and got an identical bed to Clara - it will eventually be the second part of a double-decker bed.
Oscar will very shortly be migrating from his side bed to Clara's old bed (which we have re-converted to a crib), because he's gotten almost as long as his baby bay! He's also gotten a new high chair, and in a month or so he'll be big enough for that, too. It's a good thing Tanja's so handy at putting together furniture!
Unfortunately Oscar is sick at the moment. He has a bit of a fever and a cough, but even when he's sick he still tries to be a happy little trooper. I start my second (and sadly, final) month of paternity leave on Sunday, Oscar's 5 month birthday. It seems like he's teething, and he's been giving a lot of signs that he'd like to eat, so first food photos are probably not too far off!
