At Clara's 6 months appointment today, she got the third round of shots. This went pretty well (Clara calmed down very quickly afterwards), except for the liquid rotavirus vaccination... Clara did not want to eat it, and in fact made herself spit up after swallowing the little that didn't go on her shirt. Ah well, Dr. Cady said last time that he thinks only one of the three rotavirus tries has to be taken in order for her to get immunization. Also, the taste of the rotavirus liquid apparently alerted Clara to the fact that the shots were coming, because she started crying even before the first needle.
Anyway, here are her current facts: 15lb 6oz (~7kg), 25 1/4 " (~64cm) long, 16.5" head circumference. That puts her well above the 25th percentile in all the measurements.
Clara is really trying to roll over when she's on the floor, contorting herself in all kinds of ways. But that head and shoulder are just not getting off the floor, and she can't roll all the way over yet.
